The Heyward Family Association mails its members a newsletter at least once a year. Content may include
- reunion announcements;
- messages from the HFA President and other officers;
- reporting on recent activities of the Association;
- announcements of births, deaths and marriages of Heyward family members;
- pictures from the most recent reunion;
- a statement of the Association’s finances, and
- almost anything else of interest to the descendants of Daniel Heyward, the immigrant.
Preparing and mailing the newsletters has been an HFA tradition for decades. Reading newsletters from the past is a great way to learn about the history of the Association.
